Our knife scales (handles) are, when possible, chosen from one piece of wood, and “book-matched”where possible. Book-matched scales is where each side of the handle is cut right next to the other set from the single piece of wood. Think of a pair if angel wings. This is one of the more rare and highly prized custom options in the knife making business. Depending on the type of wood used, it may be particularly difficult to tell if your knife scales are “book-matched” or not.

All our knives are pre-sharpened, All knives may require additional sharpening at a later time. We do not provide this service at this time. Seek a local knife-sharpening vendor for all your knife sharpening requirements.

All knives are hardened stainless steel.

All knife scales/handles will be conditioned with a type of oil, such as food-grade mineral oil.

All knife-set orders will include a care-instructions pamphlet.

All knives are considered extremely dangerous handled, especially when miss-handled. Pls use caution when handling our knives. We are not responsible for injury that occurs from use/miss-use of our knives.

Replacements for broken knives can be provided on an as-needed basis, depending on circumstances, and availability. Additional charges may apply.

All wood-handled kitchen utensils, including our knives, must NEVER be left in water, washed in a dishwasher, placed in a microwave, or stored on a wet surface. Normal handwashing, drying and storing actions apply.
